RED VENTURES, South Carolina-based, announces plans to hire 1,000

The technology company purchased land that will nearly double the size of its South Carolina campus

Red Ventures announced today that it has acquired 16 acres of land next to its Indian Land, S.C. headquarters. The land expansion will nearly double the size of Red Ventures' campus to 33 acres. The technology company also announced plans to create 1,000 new jobs in South Carolina over the next five years.

"We are thrilled to be able to add this adjacent land to our campus. The next few years will be full of challenges and opportunities and we are hoping to double the size of our current workforce," said Red Ventures CEO Ric Elias. "This additional land will allow us to grow, while also maintaining the unique, employee-friendly environment we've created."

Red Ventures expects to grow an additional 30 percent in 2012. The new space will give the company the ability to expand its unique employee amenities, which already include: an indoor basketball court, walking/running track, fitness center, locker rooms, putting green, and a gourmet cafe with subsidized meals.

"South Carolina continues to be the place where companies can prosper, and Red Ventures' announcement today in Indian Land is another indication of that. We look forward to the company's continued growth in our state," said Gov. Nikki Haley.

Red Ventures partners with some of the nation's largest brands to bring them high volumes of high-quality customers. Partners span across industries including: entertainment, data and internet, small business solutions, security, energy and software services. The company uses proprietary technology to market and sell services through a variety of online and offline channels.

"We are excited about this announcement and the opportunities that Red Ventures has brought to Lancaster County and the region since locating here three years ago," said Lancaster County Council Chairwoman Kathy Sistare. "They are annually recognized as one of the top places to work in the Charlotte region. As we continue to diversify our local economy, Red Ventures will play an integral part in developing local talent that will lead to successful, high-paying careers for our residents - especially the youth entering the workforce who are excellent candidates for positions with Red Ventures."

Red Ventures has a total of 1,500 employees across its locations in Miami, San Antonio, Indian Land and Wilmington, NC. Those interested in career opportunities at Red Ventures should visit the company's career site at
