IS GLOBALIZATION BAD?
What say you?
Your opinion matters. Global business, a 'megatrend', has better enabled development of diverse people & economies worldwide resulting in the rise of a global middle class, continuous development of a pool of global talent for 'smart companies', keen awareness of the need to develop a 'global mindset' inside local orgs. Yes, imbalances have been created; so let's get it done; no one should be left behind...worker retraining, compensation for the displaced... let's continue a dialog.
It's good business.

SMARTER MOBILITY THINKING
ABOUT ENGAGEMENT AND EXPECTATIONS
VALIDATING HOW GLOBAL TALENT CONTRIBUTES to PROFITABILITY
in order to thrive in the 4th industrial (r)evolution
Author, 4th industrial (r)evolution;
Mobility can no longer be a zero-sum game.
Wendy Kendall is an experienced executive coach and psychologist who has worked with influential leaders in global organisations for the past 20 years.
The fourth industrial revolution is already with us, moving more quickly and with more far-reaching impact than the previous industrial revolutions.
The World Economic Forum highlighted in early 2016 the ways in which the Future of Jobs will be affected. However, we need to consider the implications for the future of global talent development in a hyper connected world with a flattened mode of globalisation.
We must dismantle some of our cherished models for supporting global assignments in order to re-imagine the role global talent development could play in stimulating innovation, breaking down ‘silos’ and transforming companies from competitive to collaborative Global cultures.
Wendy's work as a former military psychologist meant she had to help military leaders add value to overseas deployments and deliver results quickly. There can be strong parallels between military and corporate leaders, particularly in situations where they are under pressure to perform to a high level while transitioning into unfamiliar surroundings.
Wendy’s mission is to continue helping global corporations create a new class of executives with globalised minds that perform at their best, wherever they are located around the world.
Furnished with the latest thinking, these executives create environments where people flourish, gain competitive advantage and deliver a positive return on investment for their employers.

Unlike many public speaking professionals, she was free of any affectations or mannerisms that felt forced and artificial.”

MOBILITY ANALYTICS... FAST & BIG DATA
predictive mobility planning
Buckle-up for an introduction to 'push-button' solutions for calculating employee productivity, performance and efficiency
President and CEO
Mobility managers have tried with little success to gain a seat at the talent planning table for years. New thinking and products are now beginning to change that conversation through the introduction of Big Data solutions.
The next “big thing” to drive the future of relocation is big data, and companies will need to begin refocusing their efforts to capitalize on new, sustainable business models.
Mobility Data Solved will highlight the beginnings of Big Data in mobility analytics and how corporations will apply both fast data and HRIS supported complex calculations through extended datasets.
Randy Decker previously led the Pfizer, Inc. mobility function for twelve years and completed his 25-year tenure heading-up the Latin American operations function. He began ZM Analytics after realizing that little had changed in the analytical realm of mobility in nearly thirty years.
MOBILITY ARTICLE SUMMARY
A New ERA of Mobility Analytics ,
Published in September 2016
Up until now relocation programs have been managed by measuring limited satisfaction indicators and segmented costs. A new way of looking at relocation analytics now focuses on measuring program performance, employee productivity and benefit efficiency. Through this method, mobility managers can pinpoint program deficiencies throughout every corner of their policies, and benchmark across entire industries.
A balanced approach to new analytics looks at leveling the playing field for both employee and company in this technology age. The article looks at how push-button analytics can assess program efficiency from corporate rankings through question-level detail using advanced employee assessments.
