About the venue: Green Dragon Tavern & American history museum

In Colonial Boston, in the days before the American Revolutionary War, GREEN DRAGON TAVERN was a pub on Union Street in the NorthEnd. The basement was used by a secret political group; "Headquarters of the American Revolution". Boston Tea Party was planned there; Paul Revere was there then he departed for his famous horseback ride all the way to Lexington/Concord shouting to settlers along the way, ”1 if by land, 2 if by sea, the British are coming, the British are coming”. Well, they came ...and then began the American Revolutionary War.

Make your reservation today to join the conversations, enjoy the New England-style foods, meet and learn from corporate HR leaders and others, and tour the amazing American History museum...come along with team-mates.

Why another meeting? This is about you.
I love this quote for its simplicity and relevance to our event from Mr Larry Fink, Chairman & CEO, BlackRock: "In a global, interconnected economy, jobs will flow to the nations, the regions and the companies with the best training and education for talent development".

• Experience collaborative learning
• Info timely, designed for understanding situations.

Attracting and securing GLOBAL TALENT for San Diego
in anticipation of the 2016 H1B CAP Season ...

In 2015 an unprecedented number of H1B CAP cases were filed with USCIS, reducing the odds of being selected in the infamous H1B CAP "lottery." In anticipation of next year's CAP season, recruiters and HR teams are faced with the challenge of thinking outside-the-box in order to retain and attract foreign talent.

This session will discuss strategic ways to prepare for the 2016 H1B CAP season to ensure cases are filed as soon as possible and for the correct pool of employees. Additionally, we will explore creative options that may be available to those who are not selected in the H1B lottery -- allowing employers to retain the best and the brightest talent. Discussion will include advantages, disadvantages, and risks regarding the following:
- H-3 visas
- TN visas
- O-1 visas
- H-4 employment authorization (newly available talent pool)
