F Ken Guilfoyle, Int'l MBA, GPHR, GMS-T, CPA
Senior Director - Global Benefits & Mobility - HR Business Partner
BDO USA, LLP

Many have suggested that talent management is an integrated set of processes, programs, and cultural norms in an organization designed and implemented to attract, develop, deploy, and retain talent to achieve strategic objectives and meet future business needs. But, strategic talent mobility is basically the satisfaction of two goals:
People to Jobs and Jobs to People;
Functions stay and the people move; or, the people stay and you move the functions.

Strategic talent mobility is a means of fulfilling talent management and organizational objectives through innovative and cost-effective geographic, occupational, and virtual movement of jobs to people and people to jobs.

Ken Guilfoyle, has a master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and joins BDO national expatriate services group, with over 20 years of professional experience including 10 years of expatriate practice experience in Tokyo Japan, London United Kingdom, and most recently Athens Greece. Ken knows firsthand the challenges faced by international assignees and employers. BDO International is the 5th largest global accountancy network with over 1,204 offices ind 138 countries. Revenues of the firm top 6 billion with over 45,000 professional personnel and partners.
