Memo from

Edwin B Cohen
Conference Chairman/Developer & Moderator CEO, Global HR Media; Coronado California ed@globalhrnews.com

Hello and Welcome to our 21st New York conference.

For this event I want to thank many for their incisive thinking, their forward-looking advice, and from others their constructive critiques. I acknowledge sources including from people and writings from Executive Next Practices Institute, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Fragomen, Living Abroad, and others.

You are invited to participate in this strategic collaboration designed for C-Suite, Functional Heads, Top International Human Resources and Policy-makers for International Assignments and Talent Mobility, key suppliers and subject experts...
Meet / Collaborate / Decide.

It's about Global Business, preparing yourself and preparing your company for being better and more effective. Top Leaders see the "bigger picture"...aligning global workforce structure and policies, managing to attract top talent for deployment and global development, retention of the "new" human capital assets for sustainability and long-term profitability.

It's about Branding - the Employer Brand is critical, especially with regard to performance and ROI for International Assignees and families; and your personal Brand means "who you are" and "how others view you and your performance".

Proven to be beneficial for corporate participants, our format is called "experiential"... encouraging interaction with peers and subject experts resulting in new and even better relationships and with that, enhanced rapport.

In a few days this website will display the world-class program for you. Come hungry!

BOARDROOM-LEVEL HR STRATEGY and LEADERSHIP
from a RISK PERSPECTIVE

Escalating expectations, obligations and unwelcome surprises have Board directors losing sleep worrying about risk oversight. Ultimately, strong risk oversight equals improved bottom-line performance.

Creating a strong risk oversight environment requires assessing the quality of your chief executive officer and the leadership team in addition to assessing a lot of other factors in the business.

HR strategy is no different. As a key component in strategy, it too must be assessed for its level of risk to the business - HR can't afford not to.
