LESSONS LEARNED from the ARAB SPRING;
Planning & Communicating...Safety and Protection
This past year has provided a string of incidences that have challenged many companies to re-evaluate their travel risk management programs. From natural disasters such as the earthquake in Japan to political uprisings in the Middle East, companies have to think beyond traditional security scenarios and consider how well planned their programs are and how well equipped their providers are to handle long, protracted events that don’t always follow traditional security protocols.
The presenters will discuss a case study on the hundreds of evacuations that were carried out during the recent Arab Spring and draw upon the lessons learned from this unique situation to provide participants with best practices to incorporate into their travel risk management program.
